History

 

We love this farm. It has been in our family since 1982, so we are mere new-comers. The farm is over 770 years old. It first appears on a map dated 1247, and could be much older.

My Father was an early adopter of wild farming and planted many local varities of trees.  Christmas trees were a later idea but the outstanding Dartmoor soil, elevation and fresh air proved the perfect conditions for  growing them completely naturally without the need of pesticides or chemicals of any kind.
